...BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM AKST SUNDAY...



* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations up to 

  two inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.



* WHERE...Central Beaufort Sea Coast, particularly near and east of 

  Nuiqsut.



* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST Sunday.



* IMPACTS...Visibilities at or below 1/4 mile are occurring due to 

  falling and blowing snow. Travel is not advised.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds are expected to diminish below blizzard 

  criteria by midday Sunday, but snowfall continues through Sunday 

  evening.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, 

have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with 

your vehicle.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions. Additional snow accumulations up to 

  two inches. Winds gusting as high as 75 mph.



* WHERE...Eastern Beaufort Sea Coast.



* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Monday.



* IMPACTS...Visibilities at or below 1/4 mile are occurring due to 

  falling and blowing snow. Travel is not advised. Very strong winds 

  could result in power outages, especially near Barter Island.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chills as low as 70 below zero are 

  expected at times through the weekend. Exercise caution while 

  outdoors as frostbite can occur in as little as five minutes or 

  less.
