...BAND OF HEAVY SNOW TODAY ALONG THE MINNESOTA RIVER VALLEY...



.A band of snow is expected to remain in place across west central

and south central Minnesota into the early evening. Amounts will

generally be on the order of 2 to 4 inches, but localized totals of 6

inches are possible. Snowfall rates will exceed one inch per hour at

times, which will lead to visibility reductions and hazardous travel.

Snow will gradually end from west to east this evening.
