...HEAVY SNOW RATES DIMINISH THIS AFTERNOON...



.The heavy snow band responsible for a very narrow corridor of 6 to 

10 inches of snow in southeast Minnesota will continue to push east 

into southwestern and south-central Wisconsin this afternoon and 

evening. Additional light snow is expected to linger for the next 

few hours west of the Mississippi River, however the bulk of 

accumulations has ended. All snow will likely move east of the local 

area by this evening.
