The National Weather Service in Duluth MN has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Southwestern Cass County in north central Minnesota...

  West central Crow Wing County in east central Minnesota...



* Until 1215 PM CDT.



* At 1136 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a

  tornado was located near Staples Airport, or 30 miles west of

  Brainerd, moving east at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Leader around 1145 AM CDT.



Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include

Gull Lake, Pequot Lakes and Nisswa.
