The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Western Day County in northeastern South Dakota...

  Southeastern Brown County in northeastern South Dakota...



* Until 845 AM CDT.



* At 805 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located near Ferney, or 7 miles southwest of Groton, moving

  northeast at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.

  Groton around 810 AM CDT.
