...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT FOR

MELLETTE, NORTHERN TODD AND WEST CENTRAL TRIPP COUNTIES...



At 435 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of

Horse Creek, or 6 miles east of White River, moving east at 40 mph.



THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR CENTRAL MELLETTE COUNTY.



HAZARD...80 mph wind gusts and tennis ball size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without

         shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect

         considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.

         Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.



This severe thunderstorm will be near...

  Wood and Butte Creek around 445 AM CDT.

Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a

well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing widespread

destructive winds and dangerous hail.
