The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.

Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However, small hail, gusty

winds, and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.



A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM MDT Monday

for a portion of southwest South Dakota.

...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM MDT FOR

BENNETT AND SOUTH CENTRAL JACKSON COUNTIES...



At 158 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over LaCreek North

Housing, or near Martin, moving northeast at 40 mph.



THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SIX MILES WEST OF MARTIN.



HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect

         shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and

         vehicles.



Locations impacted include...

  Southeastern Pine Ridge Reservation, Swett, Allen, Martin, LaCreek

  North Housing, Sunrise Housing, Hisle, Lacreek Wildlife Refuge,

  Tuthill and Vetal.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Seek shelter now inside an interior room on the lowest floor of a

well-built structure. This storm is capable of producing destructive

hail and damaging winds.
