...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT

FOR NORTHWESTERN CHERRY COUNTY...



At 249 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 8 miles northwest of Merriman to 14 miles southeast of

Wakpamni, moving northeast at 30 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Shell Lake State Wildlife Management Area.



This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 228 and 231.
