FOR WESTERN PICKENS AND EAST CENTRAL OCONEE COUNTIES...



At 330 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of

Pickens, or near Six Mile, moving south at 20 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 

         damage to trees and power lines.



Locations impacted include...

Pickens, Central, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Lake Keowee, Keowee

Toxaway State Park, Jocassee Gorges, Sunset, and Nine Times.
