...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT FOR

WEST CENTRAL MCHENRY AND EAST CENTRAL WARD COUNTIES...



At 332 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Granville, or

19 miles east of Minot, moving northeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind

         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe thunderstorm will be near...

  Granville around 340 PM CDT.



Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Simcoe

and Norwich.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure

and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing

dangerous hail and damaging winds.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT Monday for a

portion of north central North Dakota.
