...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT

FOR SOUTHEASTERN MCHENRY, SOUTHWESTERN PIERCE, NORTHEASTERN MCLEAN,

NORTHERN SHERIDAN AND NORTHWESTERN WELLS COUNTIES...



At 1037 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Drake, or 24

miles west of Harvey, moving east at 40 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable

         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,

         roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

  Harvey, Drake, Anamoose, Martin, Butte, Balta, Balfour, Kief,

  Bergen, Orrin, George Lake, Sheyenne Lake, Krueger Lake, Selz and

  Silva.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure

and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing

widespread damaging winds and large hail.
