FOR NORTHEASTERN MCLEAN COUNTY...



At 957 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 5

miles southwest of Garrison to 5 miles west of Butte, or along a line

from 5 miles southwest of Garrison to 32 miles east of Garrison,

moving northeast at 35 mph.



HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind

         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

  Garrison, Coleharbor, Butte, Benedict, Ruso City, Ruso, Strawberry

  Lake and Fort Stevenson State Park.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure

and stay away from windows. These storms are capable of producing

dangerous hail and damaging winds.



Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter

immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built

structure.
