FOR DAY...SOUTHEASTERN MARSHALL...NORTHERN CLARK AND EAST CENTRAL

SPINK COUNTIES...



At 819 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Roslyn, or 10

miles north of Webster, moving northeast at 60 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 

         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 

         roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

  Grenville, Buffalo Lakes and Piyas Lake.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can

develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not

immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place

of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small

interior room.



Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside

should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from

windows.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
