...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM CDT

FOR CENTRAL HAND AND SOUTHWESTERN SPINK COUNTIES...



At 657 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cottonwood

Lake, or 12 miles southwest of Redfield, moving northeast at 75 mph.



HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.



SOURCE...Public. At 644 AM 74 mph winds were reported in Miller.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 

         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 

         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



Locations impacted include...

Miller, Tulare, St. Lawrence, Miller Dale Colony, Hitchcock, Zell,

Ree Heights, Burdette, Vayland, Twin Lakes, Cottonwood Lake, and

Spottswood.
