* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Western Pickens County in Upstate South Carolina...

  East central Oconee County in Upstate South Carolina...



* Until 400 PM EDT.



* At 304 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northwest

  of Pickens, or near Jocassee Gorges, moving south at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind 

           damage to trees and power lines.



* Locations impacted include...

  Pickens, Central, Liberty, Norris, Six Mile, Lake Keowee, Jocassee

  Gorges, Keowee Toxaway State Park, Nine Times, and Rocky Bottom.
