The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a



* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northwestern McLean County in south central North Dakota...

  Northwestern Mercer County in south central North Dakota...



* Until 430 PM CDT.



* At 336 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Beulah Bay

  Recreation Area, or 14 miles north of Beulah, moving northeast at

  35 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

           roofs, siding, and trees.



* This severe thunderstorm will be near...

  Beulah Bay Recreation Area around 340 PM CDT. Hazen Bay Recreation

  Area around 350 PM CDT. Garrison around 415 PM CDT.



Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Dakota

Waters Recreation Area and Emmet.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large

hail.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT Monday for a

portion of south central North Dakota.
