* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southwestern McHenry County in north central North Dakota...

  Southeastern Ward County in north central North Dakota...

  North Central McLean County in south central North Dakota...



* Until 315 PM CDT.



* At 218 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Benedict, or

  17 miles northeast of Garrison, moving north at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

           roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Velva, Sawyer, Max, Benedict, Ruso City, Voltaire, Logan, Ruso and

  Simcoe.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from

windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large

hail.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT Monday for
