  Southern McHenry County in north central North Dakota...



* Until 1245 AM CDT.



* At 1143 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles southeast

  of Velva, or 29 miles southeast of Minot, moving northeast at 45

  mph.



  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to

           roofs, siding, and trees.



* Locations impacted include...

  Velva, Drake, Anamoose, Karlsruhe, Berwick, Voltaire, Balfour,

  Kief, Bergen, George Lake and Simcoe.
