...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CHARLOTTE AND SOUTH

CENTRAL SARASOTA COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 AM EST...



At 1032 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 

capable of producing a waterspout 14 miles southwest of North Port, 

moving east at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 

         hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs 

         and blow around unsecured objects.



Locations impacted include...

Grove City, Rotonda, South Venice, and North Port.
