...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL DELTA AND

NORTHEASTERN MENOMINEE COUNTIES THROUGH 600 AM EDT/500 AM CDT/...



At 513 AM EDT/413 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong

thunderstorm over La Branche, or 19 miles northwest of Escanaba,

moving northeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

La Branche, Whitney, Cornell, and St. Nicholas.
