...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL MENOMINEE COUNTY THROUGH

445 AM CDT...



At 401 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11

miles southwest of Hermansville, or 23 miles southeast of Iron

Mountain, moving northeast at 20 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and nickel size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Powers, Hermansville, Bagley, Spalding, Nadeau, Gourley, Carney,

Nathan, and Banat.
