...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN DICKINSON COUNTY

THROUGH 315 AM CDT...



At 239 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Iron Mountain, moving northeast at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Iron Mountain, Kingsford, Norway, Felch, Niagara, Aurora, Waucedah,

Quinnesec, Loretto, Granite Bluff, Vulcan, and Merriman.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
