...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN BREVARD AND EAST

CENTRAL OSCEOLA COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM EST...



At 1213 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7

miles west of Camp Holly Fish Camp, moving northeast at 25 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is 

         possible.



Locations impacted include...

Palm Bay, Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Satellite Beach, and Indialantic.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to

localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek

safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle.
