...Continuing Light Snow and Freezing Drizzle Could Result in 

Slippery Conditions This Evening...



Light snow and patchy freezing drizzle will continue over 

northwest Illinois and adjacent areas of far eastern Iowa this 

evening. This could result in at least some slippery conditions, 

particularly untreated or elevated surfaces. The light 

precipitation is expected to diminish between 10 PM and midnight.



Motorists should allow extra travel time in this area this evening,

including in and near Dubuque, Freeport, Galena, Savanna,

Sterling, Rock Falls, and Princeton. Use caution, including 

increasing your following distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
