...WIND CHILLS FALLING TO THE LOWER 20S AS SUNRISE APPROACHES...



The combination of temperatures falling into the upper 20s to around

30 and brisk northwest winds of 5 to 10 mph will drop wind chill

values into the lower 20s just before daybreak across far interior

portions of Southeast Georgia. This includes communities such as

Sylvania, Hilltonia, Statesboro, Portal, Claxton, Reidsville, Metter

and Millen.



Be sure to dress warmly this morning. Long term exposure without

proper clothing can lead to hypothermia. Conditions will begin to

warm after sunrise.
