...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Calhoun,

southwestern Clarendon, southwestern Sumter, central Orangeburg and

southeastern Richland Counties through 745 PM EDT...



At 702 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Eastover to 8 miles east of St. Matthews

to near Edisto Gardens. Movement was southeast at 30 mph.



...Boaters on Lake Marion Should Seek Safe Harbor... 



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects.

Sumter, Orangeburg, Brookdale, South Sumter, St. Matthews, Summerton,

Carolina State University, Orangeburg County Airport, Millwood,
