...HEAVY SNOW BAND...



HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow accompanied by winds of up to 30 MPH

which can rapidly reduce visibility to less than one mile. This band

of heavy snow is producing extremely heavy snow at the rate of 1 to 2

inches per hour.



LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 1204 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was over

Clifton Park moving east southeast at 25 MPH.



LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...

Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Cohoes,

Watervliet, Colonie, Scotia, Latham, Glenville, Niskayuna, Menands,

Green Island, Grafton, Waterford, Hagaman, Fort Johnson, Loudonville,

and Rotterdam Junction.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 88 near exit 25.

 Interstate 90 between exits 25 and 27.

 Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.

 Interstate 87 between exits 4 and 7, and between exits 8A and 9.

 Interstate 787 between exits 7 and 9.
