Damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are still possible through this morning across the Laurel Highlands and adjacent counties just to the east. Lake effect and upslope snow showers will continue through much of today. The heaviest snowfall is expected to occur across the northwestern portion of the Commonwealth, immediately downwind of Lake Erie where another six to eight inches of snow will be possible by tonight with additional accumulation possible on Wednesday. Portions of the northwest Alleghenies and Laurel Highlands will also pick up notable accumulations, with another 1 to 3 inches of snowfall expected by Wednesday morning. Afternoon high temperatures today will range from near 20 across the Northwest Mountains and ridgetops of the Laurel Highlands, to the low 30s across the Lower Susquehanna and Lehigh Valleys into the Greater Philly area. Overnight lows tonight will be in the mid to upper teens across the Northern and Western Mountains and in the low 20s elsewhere. $$
