Snow will gradually end from west to east across the region today 

with a wide swath of 2 to 5 inches of total accumulations. These 

accumulations are generally expected on a northwest to southeast 

axis from eastern Montana, through much of the Dakotas, and into 

southern Minnesota. Colder air will filter in behind this system 

resulting in much colder temperatures today with a warm up then 

expected through the middle of the workweek. A more active pattern

is then favored for the back half of next week as well.
