Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 77 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.12 miles Path Width /maximum/: 60 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 12/28/2025 Start Time: 09:22 PM EST Start Location: 2 NW Central / Harrison County / IN Start Lat/Lon: 38.1218 / -86.1779 End Date: 12/28/2025 End Time: 09:23 PM EST End Location: 2 NW Central / Harrison County / IN End Lat/Lon: 38.1222 / -86.1758 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service conducted a storm damage survey, focusing on a couple of radar circulations that moved across Harrison County, IN, Sunday night. The northern circulation appears to have briefly dropped an EF-0 tornado near and southwest of the intersection of Lickford Bridge Rd and Hill Grove Rd. Some insulation was noted stuck in a large bush on the southwest side of the home at this intersection. It is unknown where this insulation came from, as homes in eyesight upstream all had solid metal roofs and there was plenty of forest and open fields upstream. It is not out of the question that a home surrounded by those woods and well off the main path sustained some damage, so an extension of this tornado path is possible. The noticeable damage was on the west side of the home where a small storage shed was lifted and rolled left of the track, through a fence along the road and 100 yards into their neighbors field. A small livestock barn was thrown east northeast into an area of small trees. A tree near this shed lost a large branch that also fell left of the track. Grasses between the home and where the small barn landed appeared to show a convergent pattern. A couple of trees were felled across Hill Grove Rd before the tornado lifted. The National Weather Service would like to thank the Harrison County Indiana Emergency Management for providing the focus for the damage points that led to this survey. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$ RJS
