* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in freezing fog.



* WHERE...Eddy County Plains and Southern Lea County.



* WHEN...Until 11 AM MST this morning.



* IMPACTS...Driving will be hazardous due to low visibility and 

  icing on roadways, especially elevated roads, bridges, and 

  overpasses. Patchy fog will drop visibility quickly over short 

  distances. Visibility may become severely restricted near rivers, 

  bridges, and other low-lying areas.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of 

distance ahead of you.



Take it slow when driving as black ice may lead to hazardous road 

conditions. Use extreme caution on overpasses.
