Slight warming has allowed much of the ice fog to dissipate. 

Temperatures are expected to cool again overnight Wednesday into 

Thursday. Ice fog could easily return as temperatures cool back into 

the -40s.

EVENING...



* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 65 below.



* WHERE...Arctic Village.



* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST this evening.



* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 65 below zero 

  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. 

  Brief periods of 70 below wind chills are possible with wind gusts 

  up to 10 mph and ambient air temperatures around 45 below zero.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Some cloud cover arrives overnight Wednesday 

  into Thursday which is expected to warm valley temperatures.
