* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 65 below.



* WHERE...Arctic Village.



* WHEN...Until 3 PM AKST Tuesday.



* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 65 below zero 

  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes. 

  Brief periods of 70 below wind chills are possible with wind gusts 

  up to 10 mph and ambient air temperatures around 45 below zero.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mostly clear skies, calm winds, and consistent

  temperatures at or below 40 below zero will allow the layer of ice 

  fog near Fairbanks to continue to grow. Approaching clouds from 

  the southeast may provide a brief period of improved conditions 

  tonight into Tuesday.
