Through 10 pm, isolated showers and occasionally a thunderstorm have

moved off the South Florida mainland. This activity will continue 

moving to the southwest at near 15 knots across the SE Gulf waters 

and the nearshore waters to the north of the Middle Keys. Mariners 

encountering this activity can expect brief blinding downpours, wind 

gusts to near 25 knots, and occasionally a few lightning strikes.
