            Alaska DOT reports that a landslide has 

            occurred due to heavy rain in the Brooks 

            Range along the Dalton Highway around mile 

            marker 230, about 55 miles north of 

            Coldfoot. As of 9:25 AM Monday, Alaska 511 

            reports the highway remains closed in both 

            directions. Around 1 to 2 inches of rain has 

            fallen in this area with an additional half 

            inch expected today. A Flood Advisory 

            remains in effect through Tuesday for this 

            region.
