This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri

Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.



Weather hazards expected...



  Elevated excessive heat risk.

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.



DISCUSSION...



Afternoon heat indicies will reach the upper 90s to around 100

degrees for most locations. A Heat Advisory is in effect areawide

today.



Southerly winds will occasionally gust between 30 to 35 mph for 

locations along and west of Highway 65 today.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.



Heat Advisory in effect through Friday as daily heat indices 

climb to around 100 degrees. Little night time relief with lows in

the middle to upper 70s.
