Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. Elevated fire weather risk. DISCUSSION... Elevated fire weather conditions will continue through the remainder of the afternoon into the early evening with humidity levels between 20 and 30% and some wind gusts of 15 to 25 mph. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible within a more scattered area of showers that will push across the area this afternoon into the early evening. Cloud to ground lightning will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. A band of mainly rain will move into and through the region Sunday afternoon into Monday morning. A few isolated storms will be possible with this activity on Sunday. A brief period of a rain and snow mix will be possible over central Missouri Sunday night into early Monday morning with little or no impact or accumulation expected. There will be the potential for showers and storms developing and moving across the area at times through out the week as couple systems moves through the region. There will be dry periods between rounds of rain. There are still questions on the exact timing of these system.
