Patchy blowing dust will be possible as well as strong cross winds for light weight high profile vehicles traveling on north-south oriented roads. As dry air spreads in from the Desert Southwest, high fire danger will return to much of southern CO. Winds gusting up to 40 mph across the lower elevations and 50 mph across the higher mountains, combined with humidity values below 15 percent will lead to conditions favorable for rapid fire growth and spread. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday High Fire Danger conditions will likely return to much of the mountains, valleys and portions of the plains for Tuesday through Friday as gusty afternoon winds and low humidity values return each day. Temperatures will crest over 100 again by late week across most of the southeast plains with the possibility of critical fire weather conditions across all of the southeast plains. Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Tuesday afternoon and early evening across Kiowa, Bent, Prowers and Baca counties to the east of a dry line. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary storm risks. Thunderstorm chances will increase again next weekend, especially into Sunday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
