This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central Illinois, east 

central Illinois and west central Illinois.



.DAY ONE...Tonight.



Overnight temperatures will only drop into the mid-to-upper 70s,

providing very little relief from the oppressive humidity.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.



The hot and humid weather will persist through Thursday as heat 

index readings peak at 105 to 110 degrees each afternoon. As a

result, there is a high risk of heat-related illness in sensitive 

individuals and those without access to effective cooling.



Thunderstorm will be possible Friday through Sunday, although the 

risk for severe weather will remain low (less than a 15% chance).



Flooding will subside along the Illinois River at Peoria by

Thursday, but will continue downstream through the entire period.
