This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,

east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.



.DAY ONE...Tonight



No hazardous weather is expected at this time.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday



Heat index values near 100 degrees are expected across portions of

central and eastern Kansas Tuesday, and over southeast Kansas

Wednesday and Thursday. Heat indices look to increase up to around

105 degrees areawide for Friday and Saturday, with these high heat

indices confined to mainly southeast Kansas for Sunday.



A few thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening 

hours Tuesday and Wednesday in central Kansas. An isolated strong 

to severe thunderstorm is possible.



Additional spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday

night into Sunday. Severe storms are not expected.
