This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,

South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.



.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight



A brief period of very high grassland fire danger is forecast across 

portions of central and southeast Kansas late this afternoon.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday



Scatted storms will be possible late Sunday morning through Sunday 

afternoon across mainly southern Kansas. A few of the stronger 

storms may produce hail up to dime size. Further north over north 

central and northeast Kansas, a mix of rain, sleet and light snow 

will be possible on Sunday. Significant ice or snow accumulations 

are not anticipated. 



For Sunday night, patchy freezing drizzle is expected to develop 

over central and northeast Kansas and may result in a few slick 

spots, especially on bridges and overpasses. 



A few thunderstorms are possible Tuesday and Tuesday night, along 

with Thursday night into Friday.
