This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower

Michigan.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight



Lake effect snow accumulations of 1"-3" are expected through

tonight, impacting overnight travel and the Wednesday morning

commute.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday



Additional lake effect snow accumulations of 1"-3", locally

higher, are expected from midday Wednesday through Wednesday

night. Blowing snow may occur along the lakeshore Wednesday with

25-35 mph gusts. Poor visibility may occur and New Year's Eve

travel will likely be impacted.

Winds intensify Wednesday over the lake and near gales are

possible mainly north of Whitehall. Waves of 6 to 9 feet are

expected.
