This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast

Wisconsin.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight



Light snow accumulations may result in locally hazardous travel 

conditions today into early tonight, especially for the evening 

commute in eastern Wisconsin. Accumulations should range from a 

half inch to 2 inches, with the highest amounts expected in the 

Fox Valley, bayshore and lakeshore regions.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday



An arctic cold front will bring light snow to the region on

Wednesday, with most places getting a dusting to a half inch.

Increasing lake-effect snow in north central Wisconsin could

result in 1 to 3 inches in Vilas County. The surge of arctic air 

will result in wind chills as low as 15 to 25 below zero New 

Years Eve into early New Years Day.
