This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and

portions of north central Kansas.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.



Hot temperatures in combination with high humidity will result in

heat index values in the mid 90s to around 105 degrees during the

afternoon and evening hours today. A Heat Advisory is in effect 

until 9pm for areas mainly along and east of Highway 81. 



Severe storms are possible this evening into tonight mainly near

and north of Interstate 80. Hail up to around the size of 

golfballs and wind gusts up to around 60 MPH are the main threats.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.



Severe storms will again be possible Tuesday evening into Tuesday

night for portions of the area. Large hail and damaging winds will

be the main threats. 



Strong to severe storms are again a threat on Wednesday. Large

hail and damaging winds will again be possible. 



Off and on chances for thunderstorms continue through the rest of

the week. An approaching cold front may result in severe storms

Saturday evening into Saturday night for portions of the area.
