This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central 

Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, east central South 

Dakota and southeast South Dakota.



.DAY ONE...Tonight.



Heat indices will climb to 95 to 105 degrees early this evening. 

Take necessary precautions to stay safe from the heat.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.



Heat index values will climb into the lower 100s at times Monday

afternoon into the evening. Plan ahead now to limit the risk of heat

illness if spending time outdoors.



Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms may develop Monday evening.

The main threats with the strongest storms will be hail up to golf

ball size and damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph, but a tornado or two

and locally heavy rainfall are also possible.



Isolated severe storms are possible Tuesday but confidence in any

details is low at this time.
