A Heat Advisory is in effect for central Georgia and portions of

north Georgia from 12 PM to 8 PM EDT today. Heat index values are

expected be in the mid to upper 100s and reach as high as 110.



Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are likely in portions of east

Georgia this afternoon and evening.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday...



Hot conditions will persist through much of the week, with heat

index values forecast to be in the 100s each day.



Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day this

week, with highest chances in the afternoon and evening hours.
