A Beach Hazards Statement has been issued for these areas. Isolated strong to severe storms will be possible this evening and tonight with large hail and gusty winds being the primary threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Strong northeast winds will redevelop over western Lake Superior Monday and will pose a risk of hazardous swimming conditions due to rip currents for the beaches of the Twin Ports. Several rounds of thunderstorms are forecast Monday through Wednesday night. There is conditional threat for strong to severe thunderstorms through Tuesday, with the greatest potential on Monday. Large hail, damaging winds, and locally heavy rainfall which could lead to flash flooding are the main hazards. A tornado or two are also possible. There are additional chances of thunderstorms Thursday through next Sunday. Hot and humid conditions are forecast Monday through Wednesday. The risk of heat-related illness will increase.
