Increasing moisture will also result in increasing precipitation chances through the day, with the highest chances expected between roughly 1200 to 2400 local. The period of highest precipitation rates (and slight thunderstorm chance) will be with a cold frontal passage around 1700-2100 local. Winds will also shift more west to northwest following the passage of this frontal boundary. Showers will linger into Tuesday, but with coverage gradually decreasing. Storm total water amounts around 0.30" to 0.45" are expected, with snow levels/ratios supporting roughly 1.5" to 3.5" of snow.
