The Mesonet site at Mertzon at 300 PM has sustained wind speeds 14-16 mph. The San Angelo Airport at 250 PM has wind speeds around 12 mph with gusts of 22 mph. The Sonora AWOS site has south winds 17 gusting to 24 mph at 255 PM. Expect continued south-southwest winds at 12-15 mph through with gusts 20-25 mph through at least 4 PM and possibley through 5 PM. Then wind speeds and gusts will decrease by 6 PM if not a little sooner. For tonight, expect winds from the south at 10-15 mph. RH values near 30 percent at San Angelo and Mertzon at 3 PM are near minimum values, and little change is expected through 6 PM.
