The latest observation from the Beulah RAWS site shows westerly winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts to 35 mph, and an RH of 4 percent. Other obs from the area show gusts near 40 mph. These winds will continue through at least 10 PM, and weaken for the lower elevations. For higher elevations, winds look to remain gusty near 20 to 25 mph out of the west through the overnight hours. Winds in the lower levels will turn southerly late tonight into Tuesday morning, at around 10 mph. Winds look to increase again, initially over the higher elevations, then spreading down into the lower between 10 AM and noon. Gusts out of the southwest in the 40-45 mph range will prevail into the afternoon and evening. There is a very low chance (10-15 percent) of a thunderstorm at the burn site between 2 PM and 8 PM. The main concern will be the very dry low levels and high cloud bases. Lightning along with very gusty outflow winds in excess of 50 mph may be possible if thunderstorms pass overhead. Very little rainfall will accompany any thunderstorms. .TONIGHT... Sky/weather.........Mostly clear. Patchy smoke after 0300 until 0400, then areas of smoke. Min temperature.....59F.
